About Us
In Clark County, 2 in 5 third grade students read on grade level. We know that all students are capable of achieving literacy success.
We also know lasting literacy gains can’t happen in isolation. That’s why our approach focuses on research-based strategies that work across every layer of our education system.
The Lifting Literacy Liberation Coalition (L3) is comprised of over 20 non-profits, public, and private entities. We’re working to ensure all children in Clark County read proficiently by 3rd grade, indicating they’re on a path to economic mobility and co-creating a future filled with possibility.
Mission
To cultivate a community that supports students in Clark County to reach their full potential through literacy education, support, training, and advocacy.
Vision
To work in partnership with our community to create an equitable structure that ensures that all children in Clark County are reading proficiently by 3rd grade.
